Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre is one of the largest Italian players in the field of professional publishing.
Born from the merging in 2018 of the historic publisher Giuffrè Editore and Memento Francis Lefebvre, it is part of the international Lefebvre Sarrut group, active throughout Europe with 8 subsidiaries and more than 2,600 employees.
Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre provides high-quality tools, management software and information solutions, based on authoritative sources and reliable methods, to accompany professionals in the legal, tax, labor and corporate sectors.
To centralize in a single platform all the 11 thematic portals, ensuring a common UX between the different subjects and related tools.
At the same time, a graphic refresh in line with the new accessibility guidelines was required.
The first step was to analyze Giuffrè's users to understand their habits and needs, in order to create an appropriate and non-obvious interface.
Following 1-1 interviews, user personas were created to guide the choices at each step.
Once the basic functionality of the platform was identified, flows were implemented to maximize user usability and avoid "dead ends."
Before moving forward with the actual interface, wireframes were created to support the team in identifying the key elements that would be present within the various interfaces and accordingly categorize the necessary components.
Lastly, we implemented the front-end interface using Vue.js, one of the most widely popular JavaScript frameworks.
